The Downtown Business Association’s principal objective is to promote the businesses of downtown Birmingham, Alabama . Membership in the DBA presents companies with unique opportunities to highlight their offerings through the numerous downtown promotions scheduled throughout the year and show support for the business district. DBA supports and promotes its members and area businesses, advocates the development and revitalization of our historic city, and celebrates and encourages the diversity of the Birmingham .
When you become a member of the Downtown Business Association, you invest in the vitality of the City Center, the success of your business and the value of your property. DBA works collaboratively with member businesses, property owners, community partners, corporate Birmingham, the city, the tourism industry, neighboring districts and the media, to promote and nurture downtown.

Monthly Meetings First Friday of each month at 8:00 AM. Locations vary based on availability of hosting businesses. Meeting reminders are emailed or delivered via U.S.P.S.

DBA Initiatives Participation in collaborative advertising, holiday promotions, special events and “register to win” campaigns that specifically highlight merchant activities.

Annual membership fee is $120.00. Memberships are valid for a twelve-month period. The day we receive your check will become your anniversary date. Membership dues renewals are based on the calendar year from January 1 through December 31 and billed annually each January, calculated from your anniversary date. Joining DBA is remarkably easy.
